Summary

The Sr. Business Solutions Analyst is a critical role on our team that provides a thorough examination of customer needs with respect to business processes and data, identifying functional and non-functional requirements for data-focused products and services. In this role, you will develop strong partnerships with business and technical teams to prototype and deliver high-quality, secure, innovative solutions that meet end user needs. This role will develop subject matter expertise in various business areas, foundational data, application, and platform functionality to support effective translation of business use cases into requirements. Effectively translating stakeholder problem statements into data requirements, design, and solutions will be the cornerstone of success for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • In close collaboration with business and technical teams, apply deep functional domain expertise and strong methodologies to guide solution options analysis, with consideration of technical and non-technical implications and trade-offs.
  • Data analysis, including source to target mapping, data profiling, quality verification, research, schema design, application/platform/integration impact assessments based on data, technology, and/or business logic changes.
  • User story generation, including ownership of user story epics to support technical delivery, defining definition of ready, and confirmation of acceptance criteria and required signoffs within SCRUM/Agile environment.
  • Familiarity with reviewing and creating logical and conceptual data models.
  • Facilitate decision making processes, including leadership presentations.
  • Coordinate and lead prototype development, participate in user acceptance reviews and demos, partner with technical leads on creation of design documents and artifacts.
  • In collaboration with QA team, ensure systems are built and configured to requirements and design specifications, develop expertise in data quality measurement.
  • Coordinate development and execution of test plan, test cases and facilitation of UAT.
  • May drive delivery of smaller efforts and/or lead analysis workstreams within large-scale projects or programs as needed.
  • Assist with development and delivery of content to support communications and stakeholder management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of experience or equivalent, Masters preferred but not required.
  • 3+ years experience working with a Cloud Platform (Azure, AWS or GCP). Configuration experience preferred but not required.
  • 3+ years experience with understanding and querying relational databases. SQL expertise preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering within agile development methodology.
  • Industry experience preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, data science, IS, mathematics, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
