Summary:

Seagen is expanding its US Marketing team to support expected new indications of PADCEV in locally advanced/metastatic urothelial cancer. The Senior Marketing Manager of Health Care Provider (HCP) Promotion for PADCEV will be a crucial member of the brand team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of key promotional materials for the sales force and non-personal channels based on market knowledge, customer insights, and brand strategy. This individual will drive the execution of HCP promotional tactics, and is responsible for flawless execution of such tactics, working in close collaboration with our internal and external partners, including our commercialization partner Astellas, Sales, Sales Training, Market Research, Regulatory, Health Systems, Legal, Medical Affairs, other members of the brand team, and agencies. The candidate will serve as a primary liaison with Sales and Sales Training in the implementation of marketing programs to support successful field sales efforts.

Specific responsibilities will evolve based on the needs of the brand, lifecycle of the brand and competencies required on specific projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare for follow-on indications of PADCEV in metastatic urothelial cancer
  • Lead the development and execution of certain HCP focused tactics, including media, to overcome business obstacles, drive market share, and achieve sales targets; continually seek opportunities to innovate and bring ideas to realization; measure effectiveness on an ongoing basis and recommend and implement changes accordingly
  • Manage outside agencies in tactical planning, project estimate development, time management, budgeting, and execution of projects
  • Serve as a primary marketing partner with Sales Training on field direction, communication, and training on brand strategy, competitive events and product milestones. Partner with Sales Training and Sales Operations to develop the core training programs at national sales meetings
  • Serve as a key liaison with Sales; oversee planning and materials development to support Product Team meetings
  • Drive the development and execution of various peer-to-peer programs
  • Ensure that materials and programs are highly effective and compliant by owning projects through the Medical, Legal and Regulatory review process
  • Serve as a primary marketing contact with Commercial Operations; coordinate priorities for the Med-Legal-Reg review process; support printing of promotional materials and deployment of digital resources
  • Contribute to the annual brand and tactical plan for HCP promotion

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required; MBA, Pharm.D., Ph.D. or other related graduate-level degree preferred
  • Minimum of three years of commercial biotech or pharmaceutical experience
  • Oncology or experience in a specialty field and product launch experience preferred
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to proactively manage competing priorities
  • Strong written communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to influence without direct authority
  • Ability to present and discuss complex issues to higher level management
  • Experience owning projects through the Medical, Legal and Regulatory review process, preferably for a partnered product
  • Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time
